I'm 20 from Melbourne. This blog is inspired by the great leaders of the past, present and future who stood against injustice and succeeded. All I wish to do if for you to see my vision, for a better future for not only our generation but also
for future generations to come.

HiiiPower is a concept from Kendrick Lamar which is simply all about standing above all the negativity that's happening in the world today and challenging everything that everybody has told us to believe in from the day we were born.

Simply, you become independent from the "system" and society. You essentially free yourself from the chains that we are mentally enslaved in. In order to succeed today, in order for a better tomorrow, we must all come together and learn from one another. We must question everything that plagues our society in a negative way, find solutions and together make a change. But we first be the change ourselves before we help change others and than slowly we can help change the world.

"If you do not stand for something, you will fall for anything." —Malcom X

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, concerned citizens can change world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has." —Margaret Mead

Zeitgeist on a Tron Bike

Intellectuals who are constantly looking to revolutionize or be creative are always thinking. There is no pause button, it's a constant cycle of thoughts.

It's quite unique I believe, for they focus on issues that matter not only to them but to society as a whole. They tend not to concern themselves with the pettiness of gossip but rather focus on ideas.

They look for opportunities to capitalize on and build their own platform to make it possible before they begin their surge, to not only bring their revolution, but to make it significant and impacting heavily on society and changing the course of the future.

These individuals are ahead of their time and find it hard to relate to the rest of society. They are usually social outcasts who find it hard to function in day to day situations for their mind is constantly racing as they try to find resolutions to their problems. They are hard to define but know exactly what they want and will stop at nothing to achieve their goals. But are always looking to break social norms that even those who think that they know what to expect are completely shocked at what the individual ends up doing.

They stand out from a crowd and you'll know who they are from the moment you come across them. That is, if you're seeking to understand them rather then to criticize them for your lack of understanding of their motives and reasoning.

Nonchalant Attitude

There's definitely a time and place for your nonchalant attitude. It's all about the circumstances in which this attitude appears. Especially in your place of employment or company of friends.

Take the waitress of the restaurant that I was presently at. She was attractive but her poor attitude made her drop several points on the "attractive scale". She walked around without a single worry in the world, with no sense of urgency or smile on her face. Nothing to indicate she really enjoyed being there. Long story short, they appeared slightly short staffed and her attitude gave me a negative customer experience.

If you surround yourself in positions where you have no sense of purpose or sense of enjoyment. Why are you there?
If your friends are interested in getting drunk and partying every weekend and you're interested in having stable sources of income for a stable future why are you hanging with them?

Show a nonchalant attitude towards issues that do not build you, do not teach you or allow for growth. Stay away from negative people, negative situations and gossip.

Do not let the outside world keep you from making moves. But never let the outside world allow you to lose interest in great opportunities.

Life Imitates Art

From life it inspires art and from art it inspires life.

Banksy is such a great artist in my eyes, for his artwork is thought provoking and imitates both the art of life and the life of art in the same picture.

The working man choose to cancel his dream to pursue a career as a working class citizen as the guarantee of income can seem secure, however this is a cruel facade.

A facade that would lead to insecurity of where he may still have a job next year or to look after his family.
Only pursue what your true dream is whether that is to work for a major company, such as Google or to be a painter or a carpenter or own your own business. But never ever give up on a dream that you are truly passionate about.
We give up on our dreams because the work seems daunting, tireless and the insecurity of whether or not it may work out will lead any man to choose the safety of a job working for another man.

But our passions are the beautiful works of art within us and we must let the public into our art gallery to see what treasures we hide.

Take the picture however you wish, analyze it, find a meaning to it and let that meaning resonate throughout your entire being.

For we may never live out our dreams because we ourselves have cancelled the movie of our true purpose. Believe me, your true purpose was never to simply make money and pay off debts but having a passion and pursuing it, can never be purchased and can never be taken away from you unless you decide to throw it away into the wind..

The Art of Love II

Oh girl, how you've amazed me. No words could ever define the beauty I see in you. It was never about your features, only the way that you would pulsate throughout my body creating an urge of insurmountable passion that would make me want to tear the clothes off of your body.

The faster the heartbeat, the inconvenient twisting of the tongue as I tried to speak, the calmness and stillness that you would bring to my world. That is love.

But sadly, too many of us are in search of love that is to plug the gaping holes within our lives or fulfill the urges of our sexual frustrations. We chase a love that in the end will never fulfill us, not entirely. Because love, in true essence, is a feeling not a desire.

You cannot chase a feeling that you have not felt. Some of us, will never know what that truly feels like, others may experience it once, but the lucky ones experience it twice.

I do not wish to chase a love that I could never truly feel in my soul. For what your soul feels, it speaks to you. It plays heavenly music off of the strings of your heart.

Never settle for a "love" that you cannot listen to, that you could not feel. For that is not love, that is you trying desperately not to feel alone and that time that you've spent chasing women can never be refunded.

Spend your time wisely on the masterpieces not the reprints.

I write profusely on my Instagram but I thought that this was worth sharing on my blog. I'll look to link all my posts off Instagram here so that all my thoughts are viewable.

The Art of Creativity

Is technology and the education system destroying our ability to think creatively and freely?

The education systems tell us that the answers are in the book, but back when we were young children we had the freedom to write stories about whatever we wished or paint whatever we wished to paint.

As we grow older our abilities to think outside the box or to even think is now harder than ever. Not just because we are older but technology has taken away our alone time and filled it with music filled with violence, sex and drugs along the same sound or reality TV shows that ironically distract us away from our very own reality.

Are we so distracted with what's new on TV or the hottest song playing in the club that we forget what really matters? The ability to solve abstract problems not found in our text books, the ability to connect with our emotions on a deeper level rather than to ignore them like they don't exist but to use them to create a beautiful painting or a story.

I think its quite important that we express ourselves through creative means like music, writing, art or  anything of an artistic nature. For it allows not only ourselves to express our feelings and get them off our chests but to create something that society can see and relate to.

It takes no skill to repost a picture on Instagram, copy a status off twitter and put it onto Facebook to sound smart and witty. Its quite easy for us to ask the same questions in a conversation or to go out to the clubs to get drunk every weekend. You don't have to think to any of these things, in fact, you don't even need to have any effort to do this.

But isn't that a major concern to us? Does this not worry you at all?

Our lack of creativity is killing the only thing that us humans possess, that every other animal on this earth does not have.

I believe that we need to encourage one another to share our thoughts on issues that plague our society and look for ways to combat them. To paint pictures and write songs. To create inventions that only we could think of. To go out into the wilderness where there is no reception and spend quality time with the ones we love and discuss issues that concern us. To make memories that could last a lifetime or inspire the fires within our hearts to burn brighter than the sun.

We need to think and to feel in order to be creative. But as we grow older it seems that we become brain dead zombies pushing papers day in day out repeating the same task for 40-50 years until our inevitable demise. Little did we know that we died at the young age of 25, only to have our last breath in our 80s. If we happen to live that long, considering our bad habits of fast food, drinking and smoking, the radiation from our phones and the ever prevalent cases of cancer, obesity and cardiovascular diseases found in our society today.

Perhaps creativity is only able to be revived by the indie culture while those who have already chosen to delve into the arts of music, dance, painting, architecture, sculpturing and the like are the only ones who can keep the air within the lungs of creativity. But even than, those who are involved in the arts lack the creativity to innovate but rather they plagiarise and steal these ideas as their own or even worse create "art" that is the same as everything else. Which is extremely common considering that these individuals believe that the only way to create "art" is to play it safe but art in itself is not about playing it safe but pushing the boundaries of the limits within the industry.

These people are not artists and I think it is offensive to true artists who have used their creativity to get to their position but to have it stolen by the industry because it had worked for that artist. Or better yet, the individuals who write about their own life day in day out or paint pictures through the art of their choice that require little to no thought.

True art, in my eyes, requires inspiration and a message. Not just words or a picture, but words that paint a picture that strike the strings of the heart, or a picture that speaks a thousand words without having to utter a single word. True art comes from within, not from external resources. Only these external resources inspire us, but the heart speaks to us in a way that only we can understand. It is our interpretation of these understandings that create real art.

Perhaps art is something we have not seen before or maybe its something that we have always seen but in a different light. But either way, we must embrace creativity and strive for it in the same way we strive for fame and riches. For it is perhaps the most expensive quality any human can possess.x

I for one, when I feel a sudden urge of passion, anger, sadness or any rush of emotion for that matter, I find extremely precious for these emotions are priceless at that given time. They are evoked by the matters of the heart and the beauty found within these emotions contain the most beautiful art you shall ever experience. Real art.

I guess thats why love is such a masterpiece.

The Beauty of Mistakes

Mistakes

As I slowly transition out of my teenage years, its amazing to look how far I’ve come and how much progression and growth I have managed to achieve especially lately.

Nothing has really been easy, teenage years aren’t. We all struggle with different obstacles as we take our own unique path interacting with different individuals along the way.

Someone who has contributed immense growth through indirect actions and the situations in which I have had to share a large portion of my teenage years around, through both positive and negative situations, has essentially changed my life.

Growing up, I was consumed in the infatuation of young teenage love, with very little to no focus on my long-term future and career goals. Instead, I had accepted transgressions in which in any other position I would not of.

The truth being that I could not bring myself to convict such a difficult choice so I choose the hardest possible route. Fast forward to my current position, I had let my feelings and my desires destroy me by someone who lacked proper etiquette or respect for another human beings emotional state. Playing a dance all too familiar to those who can relate, its difficult to rid someone you had affection for.

But the truth was my issues were then highlighted to me through my own personal crusade to find myself, that I found someone I could never of found if I had not chosen to take such a path.

I made it a mission in my life to grow and to give back to society. To love with everything of me, to stay loyal and to stay committed to everything that I would embark on.

The blind mistakes in which I’ve made, allowed me to grow rapidly, at this moment, a few months after another lesson, I grew to feel passion, to appreciate creativity, to constantly build on my own personal issues to become a better person for the world.

I am far from perfect, but I try my best to do what’s right, for my own actions reflect my soul and the actions of others should not impact on how I conduct myself.

I let people into my life that have let me down, who have torn me down, people who would change up for their own benefit.

I’ve been blatantly lied to, had decisions made for me for what was “best” for me, trampled over because of my own good will but the thing is, I would never regret a single moment. For who I am today could never be greater thanks to everyone and by me making the mistakes I’ve made.

I look forward to 2015 with immense passion knowing what I am going to do and how I hope to impact on individuals, simply because the greatest love in which one could possess is the one where its selfless and unconditional.

Coming to peace with each stepping stone that has destroyed me emotionally has built the foundation for what I believe is a promising future.

I have turned every single mistake into a lesson, even when it may be difficult, its always possible. I lost my grandpa 8 days after I turned 18, in which on 2 occasions that lead up to his passing, I choose different plans, simply because I thought I could afford to make such a choice. It turned out to be a decision that I would later regret but nevertheless, I turned it into a lesson.

I gave away my strength shortly after, exploited by my only weakness. Turning into a battle that I never thought I needed, but it turns out, that battle was the greatest battle I ever had to fight.  The battles that evoke emotion allow individuals such as myself, to learn, grow, expand thought processes, knowledge and give us the tools to go beyond the walls in which society has confined us in.

This is a complex thought, which most of my thoughts tend to be. But its in terms of overall potential in what I am able to achieve. I could not fear failure if I tried. It was a blessing, to go after what I want and what I believe would benefit me greatly, for what could you regret if you didn’t?

We are so afraid of failure that we tend to fail at success, for we wish not to start based on the fears of what if it doesn’t work out, what if I get hurt or what if we can’t make it work?

The truth is, it will never work out if you do not try, you will be regretful for the rest of your life for not taking chances and protecting your own emotions.

The key to life is to never concede to our fears, to love without counting the cost, to never ever give up regardless of the results,  to never let the actions of others affect who we are as a person and to continually aim for growth every single day.

My biggest mistakes were never  truly mistakes but my greatest lessons.  Life is our greatest teacher, but we must strive to find these lessons. Sometimes the answers are hidden in plain sight and others may take weeks, months or even years to find. Do not be discouraged by the time it takes to reach the end.. It may be right around the corner.

I forgive everyone for they do not know what they are doing, I apologize to those who I have affected negatively in any way and I wish to repair any damage I may of left you with.

I hate blogging personal issues, however, this is not an issue, it is simply a lesson.

I only wish the best for people past, present and future. Stranger, lover or friend.

I could never wish negativity on another despite  any difficult situations we may of gone through. I tend to make my life harder than what is necessary but hey, if  I wasn’t so complicated, I could never be who I am..

I do not wish to throw anyone under the bus for my experiences, but I do wish to thank each and everyone who has been a part of my life and the influences I have received from individuals who are close to me and to those who I have not personally met.

Here’s to future mistakes may they teach me great lessons.

I’m always willing to make one, for it allows me to get one step closer to the right formula for success.

No  regrets.

P.S. If you wish to play games, just know what you're willing to lose.

For I might play games, and play by the rules, but the moment I break the rules.

You lose.
